Having lived 34 years in the USA, and the fact
that I arrived in America after having studied English for several years
in Spain and Puerto Rico, as
far as fluency is concerned I consider myself to be a native English speaker.
Although -no question- I might have a peculiar Hispanic accent.
| My fluency in Spanish is as good as it was when I left Spain in
1972. The reason being that I was already a university student

| My wife was educated in Brazil, and continued studies at the
University of Saint Cloud, MN. So far, she has lived 10 years in America. |

Exporting and Licensing technology overseas
is what I did for several years. Whether it is electronic
devices, or telecommunication equipment, computer systems, software, ..all
of these has
been the stuff I dealt with. I could even try some other items I have not
worked with.

for you, and take it to US Customs. I have grown up children in
Colorado, they all have university studies. They are sharp. |
| You do not have to have multiple international agents to buy your
stuff in Europe, I could ask my associates through out Europe to do the
buying for you. I would take care myself of Spain and Portugal. If the equipment is of critical importance I will travel
personally abroad to buy it for you, or check its status. |

Rather than "selling", the term
"scouting" -or "networking" is more appropriate when
locating partners for you here
or abroad (depending which your case might be). These businessmen
-that I will introduce to you- could end
up being your Agents, Licensees or Distributors. I have a database full with names of people whom I met and worked with
during those three decades when I had international business
responsibilities. Some of
my acquaintances are quite wealthy, others work for major corporations in their
countries. Many have valuable relationships with their
national governments and are able to pull strings.

I do speak Spanish vernacularly! Moreover,
I was born 20 miles from Portugal in a region of Spain that in addition to Castilian (also
known as Spanish, the
national language) speaks
old-Portuguese (sometimes referred as Lusitanian or Galician) .
| I left Spain when I was already in my mid-20's. My
Engineering career was started at the University of Barcelona, and
finished at the University of Puerto Rico. That speaks for
itself on my fluency in Spanish. |
| My wife was born and educated in Brazil, and she has been in the USA
for ten years. We can do localization in
vernacular Portuguese as well, specially for the Brazilian market. |

We could do just translation of your documents (into Portuguese or
Spanish, or vice versa from any of those languages into English). We could
also localize your software.
Localization typically applies to international
adaptation to a locality. Normally it is a service required for the software,
so as to be able to adapt to a larger geographical market. In addition to
translating, it requires good knowledge of the culture in those countries
you
are trying to localize to. |
