(*5) 七五三は子供の成長を祝い、神社にお参りする行事よ。 昔は子供が健康に育つことが難しかったからね。 女の子は３歳と７歳、男の子は３歳と５歳。 その年の11月に晴れ着を着てお祝いするから、記念写真を撮る家庭が多いわ。
((* 5) Shichi-Go-San is an event to celebrate the growth of children and to visit the shrine. It was difficult for a child to grow up healthily in the past. In November, 3 and 7-year-old girls and 3 and 5-year-old boys get really dressed up, so many families have photos done.)
